On the eve of International Children’s Day, to further address key livelihood issues for employees and strengthen the company’s development, China National Heavy Duty Truck Group (CNHTC) organized an open day event on May 30th, themed “Walking with Love, Happy CNHTC.” More than 1,200 employees and their families gathered at the CNHTC Museum, reflecting on the company’s journey through exhibits, cultivating patriotism and appreciating the spirit of craftsmanship through immersive parent-child experiences, and allowing children’s hearts to embrace craftsmanship, and family traditions to blend with corporate values, sharing a unique holiday filled with warmth, depth, and meaning.

This open day empowered cultural heritage through interactive activities, making the rich industrial history vivid and tangible. CNHTC employees, usually busy on the front lines, temporarily set aside their work burdens, holding their children’s hands as they entered the museum, experiencing the arduous pioneering and innovative journey of generations of CNHTC employees, and closely appreciating CNHTC’s iterative product upgrades and development achievements. Children listened intently with wide, curious eyes to the stories of their parents’ hard work and struggle, gently touching the pulse of the nation’s heavy-duty truck industry’s development.
The atmosphere at the event was lively and full of childlike fun. Each checkpoint featured games related to the characteristics of Sinotruk products, such as “My First Sinotruk,” “Experiencing Sinotruk’s Strength,” “Sinotruk Little Assembler,” and “Sinotruk’s Strongest Driver.” Accompanied by their parents, children actively participated, completing each challenge and collecting four exclusive stamps: “One Family,” “One Heart,” “Working Together,” and “We Will Succeed.” Through this heartwarming parent-child interaction, they gained an immersive understanding of the group’s “Four Ones” team culture and its core values of striving for success. The interactive area was equally warm and inviting, with the special photo area attracting many families to take pictures in front of the old Yellow River JN150—China’s first heavy-duty truck from 1960, carrying over six decades of the company’s glorious history. The image of different generations together created a touching collision between history and reality, illustrating the enduring spirit of self-reliance and hard work within Sinotruk. In the heartwarming message area, children wrote “A Letter to Sinotruk,” expressing their admiration for their parents and their blessings for the company with their innocent handwriting. One child wrote, “I always wondered why my dad often worked overtime. Today, after visiting the museum and seeing all those brand-new trucks, I finally understand that they are building our nation’s heavy machinery with their own hands. I will study hard in the future and contribute my own strength to my country!” It’s worth mentioning that the event also showcased the construction achievements of Sinotruk’s Ghana project through a video link, allowing the children of employees to see that Sinotruk’s products and services are reaching as far as Africa, further broadening their horizons and quietly nurturing a sense of pride in “Made in China” in their hearts.
The Sinotruk Museum carries the company’s 96 years of hard work and dedication, etching its glorious journey from arduous entrepreneurship to industry leadership. This open day deeply integrated festive fun with corporate culture and patriotism, transforming the museum’s historical heritage into a vivid teaching material that nourishes children’s hearts and strengthens their initial aspirations. From humble starting conditions to modern intelligent production, the older generation’s dedication to their posts and their commitment to building dreams with meticulous craftsmanship, along with their original aspirations and missions of serving the country through industry and strengthening the nation through intelligent manufacturing, have quietly taken root in the hearts of their children, allowing craftsmanship and the spirit of hard work to be passed down warmly across generations.
