Shandong Heavy Industry Group Holds Commemorative Meeting to Mark the 105th Anniversary of the Founding of the Communist Party of China

Recently, Shandong Heavy Industry Group held a commemorative meeting to mark the 105th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China. The meeting commended outstanding Party secretaries, exemplary Party members who overcame difficulties, and pioneering Party branches, mobilizing and inspiring Party organizations at all levels, Party members, and Party affairs workers to learn from these advanced models, continue the red legacy, and bravely shoulder the mission of the times. Wang Zhijian, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Group, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Ye Jianjun, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Director, presided over the meeting.

The meeting commended 19 outstanding Party secretaries, 40 exemplary Party members who overcame difficulties, and 20 pioneering Party branches. Group leaders presented awards to representatives of the winning collectives and outstanding individuals.

The meeting pointed out that in the past year, Party organizations at all levels of the Group, guided by Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, focused on “leading the way and shouldering heavy responsibilities,” concentrating on their core business and maintaining a good momentum of high-quality development. With strong and effective Party leadership, the “red engine” of Party building has become even more powerful; the foundation at the grassroots level has been comprehensively strengthened, and the fighting fortresses are full of vitality; the Party building brand is distinctive and its exemplary role continues to be highlighted; the construction of a clean and honest government has been deepened and implemented, and the working environment has been continuously optimized. Party building work has achieved new breakthroughs and reached a new level.

The meeting emphasized that Party organizations at all levels and the vast number of Party members and cadres within the group have fully leveraged the fighting fortress role of grassroots Party organizations and the exemplary role of Party members, resulting in a large number of advanced models. Party organizations at all levels and the vast number of Party members should actively emulate these role models, learning from their spirit of taking responsibility and overcoming difficulties, their craftsmanship spirit of striving for excellence, their innovative spirit of daring to be the first and scaling new heights, and their pioneering spirit of being rooted in the front lines and working hard to make progress, striving to become a vanguard force on all fronts.

The meeting emphasized that this year marks the 105th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China and the 10th anniversary of the State-owned Enterprises Party Building Work Conference. It stressed that studying, publicizing, and implementing Xi Jinping’s thought on Party building should be a crucial political task for the present and future. The meeting called for firmly grasping the core theme of high-quality Party building leading high-quality development, and using “forging four hearts and strengthening four capabilities” as a starting point to push Party building work to a new level. Specifically, the meeting called for forging a strong Party spirit, continuously enhancing political leadership, and promoting the in-depth and practical implementation of the theme education on establishing and practicing a correct view of performance. It stressed consciously deploying and promoting work from the perspective of national and provincial priorities. It called for forging a dedicated work ethic, continuously enhancing core competitiveness, adhering to the principle of planning, deploying, implementing, and assessing Party building and central work in a unified manner, deepening the construction of strong Party branches and distinctive Party building brands, and organizing Party members and cadres to tackle key challenges. Finally, it called for forging a caring spirit to gather talent, continuously enhancing the overall combat effectiveness of all employees, comprehensively strengthening the cadre and talent team, activating the vitality of all employees, and ensuring higher satisfaction and a greater sense of happiness among employees. We must cultivate a pure heart and uphold the bottom line, continuously strengthen the binding force of integrity, thoroughly implement the spirit of the Central Committee’s Eight-Point Regulation and its implementation rules, routinely rectify the “Four Winds” problems, continuously promote the construction of a clean culture that emphasizes morality, diligence, and integrity, strictly abide by discipline and rules, and build a clean and honest heavy industry.
