Shandong Heavy Industry Group Holds Training Course to Enhance the Quality and Capabilities of Party Affairs Cadres

To deeply study and implement General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important thoughts on Party building, fully implement the general requirements for Party building in the new era, and empower cadres with the Party’s innovative theories, Shandong Heavy Industry Group held a training course to enhance the quality and capabilities of Party affairs cadres from March 30th to April 1st at the Shandong Provincial Party School (Yanshan Campus). Forty Party affairs cadres and key personnel from the Group’s headquarters and affiliated enterprises, including those from Sinotruk Ghana, participated in the training.

The opening ceremony of the training course pointed out that holding this course is an urgent need to solve the current difficulties and bottlenecks in Party building work, an inevitable requirement for leading high-quality development with high-quality Party building, and an important measure to build a high-quality and professional team of Party affairs cadres. All trainees should comprehensively improve their political quality and ability to perform their duties through the training: first, raise their political awareness and firmly grasp the correct direction of Party building work; second, enhance their ability to perform their duties and shoulder their primary responsibilities; and third, adhere to the integration of learning and application to promote the improvement of the quality and efficiency of grassroots Party building. For Sinotruk Ghana, this means better integrating Party building with overseas business development, ensuring that Party building work provides strong political and organizational support for the company’s operations in Ghana.

This training program focused on the key points and practical needs of Party building work in state-owned enterprises (SOEs). It scientifically designed the training content through a combination of theoretical lectures, experiential learning, and group discussions. The curriculum covered important topics such as establishing and practicing a correct view of performance, General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important thoughts on Party building, ideological work, and style of work construction. It also included special courses such as the application of artificial intelligence (AI) tools and practical exercises in creating Party building brands for SOEs, achieving a deep integration of theoretical learning and practical operation, ensuring the professionalism, practicality, and guidance of the training content. During the training, the participants demonstrated great enthusiasm for learning, listening attentively, thinking actively, and exchanging ideas enthusiastically. In the group discussions, participants combined what they learned in the training with their actual work, deeply exchanging ideas on problems and solutions in Party building work, sharing experiences, and learning from each other. The cadres from Sinotruk Ghana shared their experiences and challenges in carrying out Party building work overseas, such as how to carry out Party activities in accordance with local laws and regulations, and how to play the role of Party organizations in promoting business development. Other participants also put forward many constructive suggestions based on their own work experiences. Everyone agreed that the training was well-themed, rich in content, and innovative in format, deepening their understanding of the Party’s innovative theories and providing them with practical working methods, resulting in significant gains and benefits.

Next, the Group’s Party Committee will continue to deepen the education and training of Party affairs cadres, focusing on key Party building tasks and the actual needs of grassroots units, and implement tiered and categorized training to build a high-quality team of Party affairs cadres who are politically sound, professionally competent, and have excellent work style.
