Shandong Heavy Industry Group Party Committee Holds 2025 Annual Democratic Life Meeting

The Party Committee of Shandong Heavy Industry Group convened its 2025 democratic life meeting, thoroughly implementing Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, earnestly studying the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, persistently implementing the Central Committee's eight-point decision on conduct, and promoting the normalization and long-term effectiveness of work style development to provide strong political safeguards for the Group's high-quality development. Wang Zhijian, Secretary of the Group's Party Committee and Chairman, presided over the meeting and delivered concluding remarks. The 28th Provincial Supervision Group attended the meeting to provide guidance.

The Group Party Committee attached great importance to convening this democratic life meeting, carefully formulating plans and meticulously organizing arrangements. Prior to the meeting, theoretical study sessions were organized around the theme of the democratic life meeting. Members of the Party Committee leadership combined collective discussions with individual self-study, extensively solicited opinions and suggestions, conducted in-depth heart-to-heart talks, comprehensively identified and examined problems, conducted thorough analyses using typical cases, and carefully prepared self-examination materials, laying a solid foundation for the meeting.

  The meeting reported on the Group Party Committee's efforts to thoroughly implement the Central Committee's eight-point decision on conduct, including learning, education, rectification, and improvement; the implementation status of rectifications from the 2024 democratic life meeting and the special democratic life meeting on inspection rectification; and the feedback collected for this meeting. Wang Zhijian delivered the self-examination report on behalf of the Group Party Committee leadership, leading by example with his personal self-examination. Other Party Committee members then conducted their self-examinations one by one, engaging in earnest criticism and self-criticism.

In his concluding remarks, Wang Zhijian emphasized the need to rigorously identify and rectify issues in strict accordance with the decisions and arrangements of the Party Central Committee, the work arrangements of the Provincial Party Committee, and the vision of building a world-class enterprise. He stressed the importance of strengthening Party leadership to continuously consolidate the foundation of political loyalty. Deeply study and implement Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, firmly uphold the “Two Establishments,” resolutely achieve the “Two Upholds,” shoulder the responsibility of “taking the lead and shouldering major responsibilities,” leverage the leading role of high-end equipment “chain-leading” enterprises, and contribute to the province's green, low-carbon, and high-quality development. Focus on core responsibilities and main business to comprehensively build a world-class enterprise. Remain unwaveringly committed to the main business, persistently execute the blueprint, and anchor the goal of building a world-class multinational group for high-end equipment. Accelerate strategic transformation toward greening, globalization, digital intelligence, and ecological sustainability to comprehensively enhance the enterprise's core competitiveness and brand influence, ensuring the Group's reform and development achievements continue to lead the industry. Strictly govern the Party and optimize the ecosystem for entrepreneurship. We must consistently uphold a strict tone, strict measures, and a strict atmosphere without wavering. We must firmly implement the political responsibility of exercising full and rigorous Party self-governance, consolidate and expand the achievements of learning and education in thoroughly implementing the spirit of the Central Committee's eight-point decision, establish a normalized and long-term disciplinary education mechanism, and deepen the development of a clean culture that emphasizes integrity, diligence, and probity. We must focus on key areas and critical links to intensify the rectification of issues such as “exploiting the enterprise for personal gain,” striving to build a clean and upright heavy industry.
